Images of Mexico

We had the wonderful opportunity of visiting Mexico this month for our wedding anniversary as a surprise gift from my husband. The heat always takes Canadians by surprise, and stepping off the plane we were immediately hit by it. While there, we were able to visit the Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza where I was able to capture some fascinating images and I’ve included a few here. Luckily we were on a tour that left early in the morning so the heat and crowds were bearable, but as time went by it started to get more crowded and hotter.

We were also able to take in a snorkeling adventure tour that week which was one of the highlights of the trip for us! It was amazing to see all the beautiful fish and coral that can be found in the reefs near Cancun. We stayed in the Mayan Riviera that had excellent dining and some beautiful beaches. It was a memorable, fun trip!

WELCOME

Hi, I’m Kasandra and I’m so glad you are here! I am a natural, bright and bold photographer based in Kamloops, British Columbia, and I love living in Canada even when it’s snowing! My love of photography started the day my Don brought home a “real” camera for me 15 years ago and I fell in love with the pictures I took that day! My love of family pictures then transitioned to portraits, engagements, weddings and sports (I have had a great time over the years taking pictures of my kids playing soccer, rugby and basketball!) I am never happier than when I have a camera in my hand!
