It was such a privilege to capture the wedding reception of Laura Noble and her husband, Scott Richardson—especially because I’ve known this sweet girl since she was just a little one!
These two decided to run away and elope, and honestly… how romantic is that?! There is something pretty special about choosing to have a wedding day that is completely your own. But while they may have eloped, Laura and Scott still wanted to come together with their family and friends to celebrate their marriage—and I can certainly see why!
Their reception was a beautiful reflection of the love and relationships that surround them. There was so much laughter, happiness, and genuine excitement as everyone gathered to celebrate this new chapter in their lives. One of the most touching details of the day for me, was seeing how many people who couldn’t physically be there were still represented and remembered. Beautifully painted rocks were displayed throughout the celebration, each one carrying its own little message of love and well wishes.
One that especially caught my eye was from Laura’s maternal grandmother in Lethbridge. What a beautiful way to include someone special from afar and remind Laura and Scott just how many people were celebrating alongside them, even if they couldn’t be there in person.
It was one of those days that wasn’t just about taking beautiful photographs—it was about capturing the people, the relationships, and the laughter and love! Laura and Scott, thank you so much for allowing me to be part of your special day! It was so much fun celebrating with you and capturing these memories for you to look back on for years to come. 💕
