Sophia Perrin Norkam Grad 2024

It was an honour to be able to photograph this beautiful Norkam Grad of 2024! Sophia attended Norkam Secondary School here in Kamloops, British Columbia. I have known Sophia and her family for several years now and they are so very warm and friendly! You can tell that her parents, Eric and Maridel are very proud of their daughter at this exciting time of her life! Graduation is especially meaningful when you share it with supportive friends and family who have loved you through the years.

Sophia came dressed in her beautiful grad dress with her Norkam cap and gown. We had so much fun, not only getting individual shots but I was able to capture Sophia with her family! We chose McArthur Island Park as the backdrop because of the beautiful scenery and flowers that can be found there. The weather was perfect and so we tried out several different areas from the Butterfly Gardens to the Riverbank. The natural light helped create some stunning pictures of her!

This year when graduating, Sophia was not only on the Principal’s List but she received the Gold Cord Award. She also received the Norkam Music Society Scholarship, the District Authority Scholarship and a University of Victoria Scholarship! She plans to study social work this fall, as she would love to be able to help others. Some of her hobbies are reading, writing, baking, playing piano and most of all, she loves singing! No wonder, her parents are proud of this confident, accomplished young woman!

Sophia we look forward to hearing about your new adventures and we know you will achieve whatever you put your mind to!! Good luck in the year ahead as you head off to Victoria, you will be missed but we know you will do awesome!

WELCOME

Hi, I’m Kasandra and I’m so glad you are here! I am a natural, bright and bold photographer based in Kamloops, British Columbia, and I love living in Canada even when it’s snowing! My love of photography started the day my Don brought home a “real” camera for me 15 years ago and I fell in love with the pictures I took that day! My love of family pictures then transitioned to portraits, engagements, weddings and sports (I have had a great time over the years taking pictures of my kids playing soccer, rugby and basketball!) I am never happier than when I have a camera in my hand!
