Wilson Forsythe Wedding at Benvoulin Heritage Church

It was such a privilege to be asked to photograph this wedding! We have known the Wilson family since we were all young together before we even had children, so this day was a special one! We have joined Colin and Carole and their families many times throughout the years for some awesome adventures and our kids had so much fun together!

The marriage officiator, Kent Burnham started out by remarking that this was the hottest wedding of the year which made us all laugh but was so true! Even though the day recorded one of the highest temperatures that summer, Colin and Kristina were so in love and that was evident through the whole day! The ceremony took place outside of the beautiful Benvoulin Heritage Church in Kelowna and you couldn’t have asked for a more awesome setting. From the meticulously manicured grounds, to the beautiful church inside and out, it made the whole day special!

Their family and friends on both sides were there to celebrate with them and it made for a fun and memorable day! I was so happy to be able to get pictures of the sweet bridesmaids and flower girls who were nieces to the bride! Carole, the mother of the bride is an amazing hostess and planner and she has always thrown the most amazing parties! This wedding was definitely an example of that! After the beautiful, heartfelt ceremony the reception and dance were held outside where everyone joined the bride and groom in celebrating their love and devotion to each other.

Thank you Colin and Kristina for allowing me to be your photographer! You were so fun to work with and made my job so easy because you were so happy! It was such an honour to capture your beautiful day and I hope you love these pictures as much as I do! Congratulations you two on starting a beautiful life together!

Hi, I’m Kasandra and I’m so glad you are here! I am a natural, bright and bold photographer based in Kamloops, British Columbia, and I love living in Canada even when it’s snowing! My love of photography started the day my Don brought home a “real” camera for me 15 years ago and I fell in love with the pictures I took that day! My love of family pictures then transitioned to portraits, engagements, weddings and sports (I have had a great time over the years taking pictures of my kids playing soccer, rugby and basketball!) I am never happier than when I have a camera in my hand!
