Norkam Grad of 2026 Graduation Session!
Graduation is so much more than putting on a beautiful dress and celebrating with friends. It’s the end of one chapter, the beginning of another, and a chance to celebrate all of your hard work, dedication, and memories. It was such a joy to photograph Zoe Willson’s grad session.
From the moment she arrived in her stunning red graduation dress, Zoe brought so much personality and enthusiasm to the session. She was relaxed, confident, and so fun to photograph. She made my job easy with her genuine smile, adventurous spirit, and willingness to try new ideas.
One of my favorite parts of grad sessions is when the grad brings along props that tell the story of their school years! Rather than simply just taking traditional grad portraits, Zoe wanted her photos to tell her story. She included her rugby ball, representing the sport she has loved. She also brought some of her books as this is one of her favourite pastimes! It was also fun that Zoe brought along posters from several of the plays she has performed in. Every item reflected a piece of who she is and helped create portraits that were uniquely hers.
It was special to watch the love surrounding Zoe. Her mom, dad, and family were with her every step of the way, encouraging her, helping her, cheering her on, and celebrating with her through the years. You could see how proud they were of their amazing daughter. Those moments of support and laughter are often some of my favorite memories from a grad session, because they remind me that graduation is truly a family celebration.
Photographing graduates is always an honor. I never take for granted that families invite me to capture one of the biggest milestones in their lives. These graduation photographs become treasured reminders of a season that passes far too quickly—a season filled with dreams, accomplishments, and excitement as one phase of life ends and another is on the horizon!
Congratulations, Zoe! Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of such an exciting chapter in your life. I have no doubt that your future is incredibly bright, and I wish you every success in the adventures that await you.
